National Scrapbooking Day challenge #2

Well i was on a roll so i started another challenge and I'm very happy with how this one turned out…this challenge was to scrap a normal scrapbook page but using project life style (which reminds me how far behind i am on my normal project life UMMM MAAA lol)

Happy National Scrapbooking Day

Well its national scrapbooking day today so i thought i would do some scrapping for myself for a change… i found over on this awesome site Scrapbook Generations they were having some fun challenges so i thought i would join in…

this challenge was perfect for these photos that we took on our trip over a year ago to Forbes…we got to go to Parkes where we saw the giant telescope…it was amazing to see up close how big it was…

Look at what i made

or should i say my hubby made LOL…. i did the decorating and he did the putting it together for me and i love how it has turned out…

This is my new Kaiser desk caddy… it holds so much stuff and it means i get more stuff off my desk so more room for me to create and mess up lol…

Love how this has turned out and its so good as it has a lazy Susan base which allows it to turn around 360 degrees so no having to get up and get things i need its all now in arms reach for me…

Not a lot else has happened lately, I'm a bit behind in my PJL but trying hard to catch up i think I'm 3 weeks behind now but planning on getting it done soon (or tonight if i can)… ill try and share pics of my pages soon.

I've also been busy with work stuff making samples for an upcoming show we are going to and ill be demoing copics of course… just need to make up a few more samples for this and its only next weekend… so i best get moving with them… nothing like leaving things to the last minute as usual…

High School

I totally forgot to update and tell you all about Kaitlyn and High School…

So she has finally started high school and she is loving it…its good that she has gone to a school with most of her close friends which makes it so much easier for her… she is loving all her classes and is settling in well with having to deal with different classes and changing all the time (she has only gotten lost twice LOL)… homework is another thing which we need to get in a routine with… so much more this year and trying to get her to do it on time is a struggle lol…. oh the packing of her school bag each night we just wont go into that LOL….

She looks so grown up in her school uniform… my little girl so big now….
But she is doing well bringing home two certificates already…very proud of my girl and i really hope that the enthusiasm lasts..

ok the day is very overcast so its scrapping time for me trying to catch up with my project life which ill take some pics soon and update that as well… only 3 weeks behind now ….

Being Creative…

Well I'm trying to be creative again… I've been in a big slump at the moment and just cant seem to get motivated to do anything… i really need to create so i thought i would show you what I'm trying to get done and what is sitting on my desk right now…

This made me have a jump start today so thought i would join in again with Kellie on her blog and share my current creative thing I'm doing…

at present I'm trying to make these golden books (didn't we all read these when we were little i know i did i had heaps of them)… what I'm doing is actually turning these golden books into little notebooks by pulling them apart and rebinding them with note paper inside… these are for my mum and her friends…only problem is i have ruined 2 books so far so must go and get some more to complete them…hopefully ill have no more problems with them LOL…

ok so hopefully this little creative jump will start my mojo going again… i did get some pics printed today to catch up with project life which I'm afraid to say I'm 4 weeks behind… but hope to get caught up this weekend…wish me luck…
